Meet Rose, Founder of Charlotte Rose Home Learning

Charlotte Rose Home Learning was founded with a deep love for children, a passion for meaningful education, and a heart for nurturing both character and curiosity.

Rose began her journey during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she stepped in to tutor three young students using the Charlotte Mason method. During a time when many children struggled to stay engaged in traditional learning, she created a calm and intentional environment centered around living books, nature, and thoughtful conversation.

As the students progressed, their growth became clear, not only in what they learned, but in how they expressed themselves, engaged with ideas, and developed confidence in their thinking. When it came time for formal evaluation, a Florida state-licensed teacher came to assess one of the students’ academic progress. During that evaluation, she spoke highly of the curriculum Rose had implemented, recognizing the depth, structure, and care reflected in the child’s learning.

 

That moment affirmed something Rose already believed education should not be rushed, forced, or disconnected. It should be alive, meaningful, and rooted in truth, beauty, and curiosity.

 

With over six years of hands-on caregiving experience, Rose brings a nurturing presence, patience, and attentiveness to each child she works with. She understands that every child is unique and believes in meeting them where they are guiding them gently while fostering independence, confidence, and a genuine love for learning.

 

Charlotte Rose Home Learning was created to support families who desire a more peaceful, thoughtful approach to education, one that honors the whole child: heart, mind, and spirit.
